Blue Mountains Drama Workshops.
Drama Workshops are an ideal evening activity for both Primary and Secondary students staying overnight in the Blue Mountains. The duration of each Workshop is usually one and a half hours.
Believing in the wonder and magic of live performance, all Workshops allow students the opportunity to learn many theatre skills, which they can then utilise in individual and small group performances on the night.
Workshops are available around the following activities and themes.
"I learnt a lot from you and I think everyone else learnt lots of stuff as well. "
"Thank you for all the information you told us today, the railway was a little scary but I managed to do it!"
- A Real 'Live' Blue Mountains Murder Mystery.
- Boring?? Can't be, it's Shakespeare!
- The Delightful Madness of Theatre Sports.
- Performance Poetry, and Telephone Book Readings. Quite Absurd.
- Tableaux with Muddled Fairy Tales.
Costumes and props are available, however students are welcome to bring along costume and/or props to add to their performance.
Let me know if you would like to book a Drama Workshop, and then I will liase with your venue, discussing such things as, performance space, times etc.
Over the past years, Drama Workshops have been conducted at Winmalee Conference Centre; Camp Fletcher, Hazelbrook; Katoomba YHA: Katoomba Christian Convention Centre.
